严重者换尿袋第二天清晨便出现紫色尿袋，更换留置尿管时尿管内部也是黑紫色。当时刚上临床，未保留图片，遗憾遗憾~~犹记得最严重两例一例是乳房癌晚期合并梅毒患者，一例是脑血栓后遗症患者，均为女性，年龄均超过80岁，均留置尿管超过一年时间，后者合并有骶尾部Ⅲ度压疮。当时并未明白为何会出现此种情况，以为是尿管材质。后来在在网上查了查资料，国外报道： The syndrome was first described in 1978 1978年首次被发现。 Purple urine bag syndrome is a medical syndrome where purple discoloration of urine occurs in people with urinary catheters and co-existent urinary tract infection. Bacteria in the urine produce the enzyme indoxyl phosphatase. This converts indoxyl sulfate in the urine into the red and blue colored compoundsindirubin and indigo.The most commonly implicated bacteria are Providencia stuartii, Providencia rettgeri, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis,Escherichia coli, Morganella morganii, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa 通常是留置导尿管的病人发生尿路感染所导致的，感染的细菌通常为斯氏普罗威登斯菌、雷氏普罗威登斯菌、克雷伯氏肺炎菌、奇异变形杆菌、大肠杆菌、摩根氏菌、绿脓杆菌、等革兰氏阴性菌。尿液中的细菌产生吲哚硫酸盐，尿液中的吲哚酚被转化成靛蓝和靛玉红，因此尿液呈紫色。 Purple urine bag syndrome is more common in female nursing home residents. Other risk factors include alkaline urine, constipation, and polyvinyl chloridecatheter use. 也指出女性患者较易出现，其他相关因素有碱性尿、便秘及聚氯乙烯材质的尿管。 People with purple urine bag syndrome usually do not complain of any symptoms. Purple discoloration of urine is often the only finding, frequently noted by caregivers. It is usually considered a benign condition, although in the setting of recurrent or chronic urinary tract infection, it may be associated with drug-resistant bacteria. 通常患者无不适主诉，尽管在反复性泌尿系感染或长期泌尿系感染中出现，但仍被认为是良性改变，与耐药菌有关。 后期换了单位，也换了科室，又碰见一例因脊髓损伤留置尿管的约55岁的女性患者，查尿常规无异常，仅尿管内出现紫色，程度较轻，可能与胃肠道功能不良有关。 因为临床上还是比较少见，拿出来跟大家分享一下，
